Helping People Find Closure and a Clear Path Forward
Conflict touches every part of life.
It can disrupt businesses, strain relationships, affect families, and leave people feeling uncertain about what comes next.
For nearly three decades, I have helped people navigate conflict—first as a business litigator, and now as a full-time mediator dedicated to helping individuals, families, businesses, and their attorneys resolve disputes with confidence, dignity, and respect.
What I have learned is that while every dispute is different, the goal is often the same.
People want to be heard.
They want practical solutions.
And they want a clear path forward.
That philosophy guides every mediation I conduct.
My Approach
Mediation is about more than reaching an agreement.
It is about creating an environment where productive conversations can occur, difficult issues can be explored, and thoughtful decisions can be made.
My role is not to determine who is right or wrong.
My role is to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, identify common ground, and help parties work toward practical solutions that meet their unique needs.
Whether resolving a complex business dispute, helping parents navigate divorce, or facilitating settlement in a personal injury case, I believe every mediation deserves careful preparation, creativity, patience, and respect.
Experience Matters
Before dedicating my practice exclusively to mediation and arbitration, I spent my career representing clients in complex litigation.
That experience allows me to understand not only the legal issues involved in a dispute, but also the practical realities attorneys and their clients face when evaluating risk, making decisions, and negotiating resolution.
Today, I serve as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and Family Mediator, a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator, and a panel member of the American Arbitration Association.
I am also honored to serve as a Certified Mediator for both the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the Southern District of Florida.
My background allows me to effectively mediate disputes involving business litigation, commercial matters, employment, real estate, probate, personal injury, insurance, construction, and family law.
What You Can Expect
Preparation
Thoughtful preparation creates productive mediations.
I encourage pre-mediation conversations, confidential mediation summaries, and early identification of unique issues that may assist in resolution.
Communication
People negotiate more effectively when they feel heard.
Creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue is one of the most important parts of the mediation process.
Creative Problem Solving
Many disputes have solutions that extend beyond what a court could order.
Exploring creative options often leads to more durable and satisfying resolutions.
Closure
A successful mediation is about more than signing an agreement.
It is about helping people leave with confidence, clarity, and a clear path forward.
Beyond the Mediation Room
In addition to my mediation practice, I regularly speak and write about negotiation, conflict resolution, ethics, and effective communication.
Through my monthly newsletter, The Art of Resolution, I enjoy sharing practical insights that help attorneys, clients, and professionals navigate conflict with greater confidence. Join my mailing list by completing the "Let's begin the conversation" form below.
A Privilege to Serve
Whether I am working with attorneys, business owners, families, or individuals, I never lose sight of the trust that is placed in me.
It is a privilege to help people navigate some of life's most challenging moments.
Helping people find closure and a clear path forward is not simply what I do.
It is the purpose that guides my practice every day.
