The Path Forward.
Conflict can feel overwhelming. Whether the dispute involves a business, a family, or a personal injury claim, people often come to mediation carrying uncertainty, frustration, and concern about what comes next.
My role is to help create a process where productive conversations can occur, options can be explored, and thoughtful decisions can be made.
Every mediation is different, but my approach is built on the same guiding principles.
Preparation Creates Opportunity
Successful mediations begin before the session starts.
I encourage attorneys and pro se litigants to share confidential mediation summaries, discuss unique issues beforehand through confidential pre-mediation calls, and identify anything that may help make the mediation more productive.
Preparation allows us to spend less time explaining the dispute and more time resolving it.
Listen First
People are far more willing to negotiate when they feel heard.
I work to ensure every participant has the opportunity to express concerns, identify priorities, and understand the perspectives that may be driving the dispute.
Creative Problem Solving
For many disputes, the best solution could never be attained in a courtroom.
Whether we're resolving a business disagreement, a family matter, or a personal injury claim, I encourage parties to explore practical options that meet their individual goals.
Confidential. Respectful. Neutral.
Mediation provides a private environment where difficult conversations can occur with honesty and professionalism.
My role is not to decide who is right.
My role is to help people move toward resolution.
Beyond Settlement
A signed agreement is important.
But lasting success often means something more.
Helping people leave mediation with confidence, clarity, and a clear path forward.
